Wanla Lamayuru By same conveyance to Lamayuru village. Visit to spectacular monastic building of Drigung Kagyud School of Tibetan Buddhism and to ancient temple situated in the village below, perhaps it belongs to Kadampa sect during the second difussion of Buddhism. Night stay in a hotel.

Alchi Leh By car/deluxe bus to Leh. Visit to ancient cave temple of Nilza at Sapola and Likir monastery on way up Leh. Night halt in a hotel at Leh.

Leh Phayang and Pathub By same conveyance to monasteries of Phiyang and back to Leh Phetub. Phyang belongs to Drigung Kagyud sect and Pethus to Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism and established in 14th ecentury.

Leh Diskid By car/deluxe bus to Diskid, the subdivision headquarters of the Nubra Subdivision across Khardungla pass (ht. 5,460 mt.) into Nubra valley. The central Asian trade route linking the famous silk route from India was going through this high valley of Karakuram mountain, prior to taking over the power by the communist in China. Visit to monaster up on the mountain slop. This monastery is a branch of Thigse monastery and belongs to Gelugpa sect.

Diskid Samtanling By car/deluxe bus to Samtanling Monastery situated on the left bank of the river Nubra. This monastery is built by the famous scholar Tshuthrim Nyima of Rizong in early part of the 19th century and belongs to Gelugpa sect. Night stay at Samtanling Guest house.

Samtanling Leh Retrace the same road to Leh. Stay in hotel.

Leh Tagna and Matho By car/deluxe bus to monasteries of Tagna and monasteries and back Matho on the left bank of the river Indus. The  Tagna belongs to Brugpa Kagyud sect and the Matho to Sakya sect of the Tibetan Buddhist.

Leh Shey and Thigse Visit Shey temple. In it is shrined two storeyed high monasteries and back metal statue of Buddha, the biggest statue in the region. Thigse monastery is highly photogenic spiritual buildings of Ladakh. Monastery is Gelugpa sect.

Leh Hemis and Dagthak Visit to famous Brugpa monastery Hemis and thence to visit Chamde monastery on way up Dagthag. Night stay at village Dagthag.

Dagthag Dangtse Visit to Nyigma monastery of Dagthag in the morning before leaving on day's journey by car/deluxe bus to Dagtse in Durbug valley. Dangtse is reached after crossing over a high pass of Changla into Durbug valley. Night stay at Dangtse village.

Dangtse Pangong lake Drive up along Dengtse river to western shore of and back high lake of Pangong. Back to Dangtse and visit to rock inscription of Nestorian missionary, probably of 9th century in the vicinity of the village. Night stay at Dangtse.

Dangtse Tsogar Drive back same route upto Upshia nd then on Manali-Leh way up to more plain, then to Tsogar lake through a dusty road. Night camp at Nurucan at the lake shore.

Halt at Tsogar Visit to different places around lake shore and watch the avifounas.

sogar Tsomo Riri A full day's drive take you to Tsomo Riri lake after crossing over two passes, Polo Gongka and Gyakar la. Take some time roaming around a small lake of chalice shaped lake Gyakar and proceed down to wide valley of Korzog where the lake Tsomo Riri is situated. Night halt at lake shore in the camp.

Halt at Tsomo Riri Day at leisure to explore the lake site and visit Korzog and monastery.

 Tsomo Riri to Phu and Walk up to nomade summer camp at Phu about four back Korzog km. on foot and spend the day with nomades and come back to camp in the evening.

Tsomo Riri Sarchu By car/deluxe bus to Sarchu camp after covering a long distance and crossing three passes Gyakar la, Polo Gonka and Lachuling la.

Sarchu Keylong By same conveyance to Keylong in Lahoul valley. Night halt at Keylong in hotel.
