  4 Jammu Kishtwar By car. Accommodation in hotel.

Kishtwar Atholi By car. Drive through magnificient gorge of Chenab river upto camp site, passing several villages.

  6 Atholi Leundi Trek begins. Trek goes through side valley of Botenalla upstream.

Leundi Moshu Trek goes on following Bote nallah upto camp of Moshu. Some fountains (Naun) with excellent slab carving are met wity on way up.

Moshu Haloti Trek goes on camp route along the river Bote nalla to small village Haloti occupied by the Zanskari people.

Haloti Gorna Trek resumes on same route to another Zanskarivillage. Camp near The river bank.

Gorna Simcham Trek resumes on same route along the river to village Sumcham. High above on the mountain slope is located saphire mines

Sumcham Pangchen Trek goes on up ascending morain deposit of enormous mass up on a flat ground of excellent pasture where party would camp for the night.

Pangchen Phangsa After covering few distance on the flat ground, trek turns to left slope with gushing river coming down from Umasi glacier. Camp near extending tongue of glacier, at an elevation of 4,400 mts.

Phangsa Gang Trek goes upscene turminal morainr first and then on solid glacier up to the camp. Camp would be established on glacier at an elevation of 5,350 mts.

Gang Zongkul Phu Trek goes trudging on glacier surface up on to pass of the Umasi la (ht. 5,800 mts). Trence down to camp site near a tarn, in Zanskar region.

Z.Phu Ating Trek goes downstream Ating river to camp at village Ating in main Zanskar valley. Visit to Zongkul monastry situated on the left bank of the river Ating on way down.

Ating Padum Trek end at Ating. It begins the safari on car. Visit to 17th century monastery Sani on way to Padum. Stay in hotel.

Padum Halt Visit to surrounding monasteries og Tagrimo and the Stupa temple of Pipting and Rock carving of five Dhayani Buddha of eleventh century on the river bank.

Padum Bardan and Muni By car. Visit to fortress monastery (17th century).  and back to Padum Bardan built on outcrop on the left bank of river Lungnag and to Muni monmastery 10 km. Further up valley.

Padum Zangla and back Drive downstrem Zanskar Chu to Zangla. Visit to nunnery and famous fort of Zangla Pioneer Hungarian Tibetologist Scoma de cross stayed here in the fort while studying Tibetan from Geshe Sangye Phuntsog, in early 18th century. An another monastery, Tigde is also located in the vicinity to be visited same day.

Padum Rangdum Drive first to monastic settlement Karsha to see the monasteries and temples in the village and then drive through Todd valley passing several villages cross voer Pentsi la pass (ht. 4,400 mt.) into upper Suru valley. Camp at Rangdum (Yuldo).

 Randum Kargil Visit to Rangdum monastery before proceeding down to Kargil. Then drive downstream Suru river passing villages and snow clad mountains. Famous Nun Kun peak can be seen passing at Parkhacig.

Kargil Lamayuru Kargil is midway town between Srinagar-Leh and headquarters of district Kargil. From Kargil safari continues and extends towards main valley of Ladakh and reaches Lamayuru. Visit to Mulbe temple on way up Lamayuru. Camp at Lamayuru. Visit to monastery.

Lamayuru Alchi Drive on the main valley of Indus from Lamayuru. Descend downhill slope of Lamayuru upto Wanla river and then follow upstream Indus river to Alchi. Visit Rizong monastery on way. Monastery of Alchi was built in 11th century and worth visiting.

  24 Alchi Leh Drive on upstream Indus to Leh. Visit Pethu monastery on way to Leh.

Halt at Leh Day at leisure. Leh is capital of Ladakh and main market of central Asian trade since long.
